By Jove...I've done it...exactly one year after placing on the market I have received an offer, which I was relieved to accept and now I have to vacate the premises in six weeks!!!
I am experiencing feelings of displacement... after all...I have been here 13 years...can say I grew up here...well...not really as I was ever so grown up in the first place!!!
But I digress...I have found a property to buy! WHAT? Is this not called the repatriation of what's her name? Yes! but we are now on to Plan B as we have accepted a permanent job...so we need somewhere to live!!! AND the new place is fab...HUGE and opposite a park...only thing...there has been no decoration since 1973, and although this suits my purpose perfectly, it will be weeks (9) before I can move in. It needs to be stripped bare, not to mention the knocking down of the odd wall or two...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
